Taper did a great job capturing this.

My thanks to him/her & to all who shared along the way.

Needed some restoration.

The worst thing was that it was very hissy.

The notes said "master" but it sounds 2nd/3rd in generation.

Did what the recording could handle dynamically.

Via speakers it is great put the headphones on and there is hiss remaining.

Slight digital skip in Youth.

What sounds like a microphone disturbance in Heat, lasts a second.

Not many talkers on this which helps a lot while listening.

Did a few edits/fades and ended up doing a partial re-track.

Appreciate it.

This has had a fair amount of restoration.

Was then speed corrected (it ran to fast).

Finally some really light touches with the remastering.

Talkers not to bad only in between songs & quite moments.

There is still some tape hiss present (especially if you wear headphones).

Removed all that I could, listen via speakers it is fine.

Tracks 14 onwards suffer from tape stretch, all sounds a bit wobbly.

So....

If you can live with the hiss & the odd wobble this has much to recommend it.

This was a great show spoilt by the radio chatter.

So...

I have removed all the DJ talking, now only the music remains.

This was done by using fades in & out.

Not a perfect solution, I don't think one exists, so it is what it is.

A few issues: 

In "I'm Not Scared" there is a half second "jitter", 

this is on the original, nothing I have done to it,

goes as soon as you hear it, so no real problem.

On "West End Girls" from 2:20 to 2:30 there are more "jitters".

These you will notice big time, present on the original. 

On "It's A Sin" & "Domino Dancing" there is another half second jitter, nothing serious.

I have no idea how to rectify these errors,

if anyone knows please get in touch, I would be most interested to learn.

My thanks to the taper & seeders for this ending up with me.

If that could be removed with out damaging the recording it would be sweet.

Defeated me, may be some kind soul will try and remove it in the future.

The band are on great from here so much to like.

Many thanks to the taper (great job) & FOXYDUCKER for sharing,

along with Alan who has been great, all much appreciated.

This took many hours to get it to what you will hear.

It has been pitch corrected & speed adjusted.

Had some restoration & gentle remastering.

Sounds great overall, still some issues remain,

mainly with tape hiss in places, occasional slight level wobbles, 

but overall very nice.

If you have the original this is worth getting,

like night & day in comparison.

Nice recording by the taper.

Arrived as flac's but spek reports them as lossy, so they are here in mp3.

This ran way too fast so it has been slowed down to the correct speed.

Suffered from a lot of tape hiss, have removed as much as possible.

Needed some restoration & then remastering.

Did some editing to make it flow better.

Tape flip after "world shut your mouth" I think, no music lost as far as I can tell.

Vocals slightly distorted in general, but over all a nice gig to listen to.

This took a lot of time to figure out.

Got it as near as I could to what I wanted.

Spent a lot of time on this, but think it was worth it.

Two issues remain:

1. The background chatter when the music is quiet.

2. It is lossy.

If anyone has a better version & would be willing to share please get in touch.

For now this is the best it can be.

A slice of history here for you to keep & treasure.

Amazing band, sadly over looked by many.

Was lucky enough to see them once at a small venue in London,

can't remember where exactly, taken by my music barometer, The Wild One.

In Z's notes he doubts the source.

I agree, this is for me an audience recording.

Used as much hiss reduction as I could for this but it is still noticeable.

For brief moments the tape age/wear shows up but there aren't that many,

shouldn't spoil your listen.

This was pitch & speed corrected.

Then worked on with some restoration & remastering.

Sounds quite nice, very pleased with how it turned out.

If you like the band then this is for you, a must!
