A great job capturing this show, without it what would we have?!
This bootleg has done the rounds for ages under many names.
A version can be found here on the blog credited to John Kend,
there is a Greek vinyl version as well.
All came from Dave's recording.
This is miles better (IMO).
I will leave the other version on the blog for those that want to compare.
A sample from each if you want to see if you want this first.
Dr Dave reached out and offered his metal master recording.
So here it is after transferring/restoring & remastering
It needed some restoration & the channels balancing.
Fixed various glitches (as above) & clicks.
Did some editing & finally some remastering.
There are still some things I could not fix:
Phasing & occasional whooshing effects.
Also some of the channels are not balanced as well as I would have liked.
Distorted vocals in many/various places.
For all that it is still a better version than what existed already.
Unless someone else recorded it better than the good doctor (which I very much doubt),
or a soundboard surfaces this is likely to be the best version we will have.
This is a MUST for Sisters fans.
My artwork included if someone can do better then please do!

There is one other half decent one, but I inadvertently turned the microphone off for a minute or so near the start! So not perfect..
It was Munich Alabamahalle 24/4/85..
I had just moved to Germany as part of my Polytechnic degree!
I've actually lent that Munich tape to a mate, but can share with you in a couple of weeks?
Also.. could you ask the sisters chap to send links of where this is being discussed?? I'd be interested to read it..
