More very sad news today with Martin passing away.

I knew of him via Felt, saw them quite a bit back in the day.

Many thanks to the original taper/sharers & the kind soul that ripped the CD's.

Found this for sale on a Japanese website for £41 + p&p (way out of my league at present but you never know....).

Issues with this remaster:

1. It is lossy.

2. The CD's were pushed way to hard and distorted the files especially the bass.

3. It was to slow.

So...

Sorted the distortion, corrected the speed, re-tracked the files & then remastered.

Took loads of work to get it this way but worth it.

For a lossy set it sounds really nice, if I had the WAV's/FLAC's then more could be done.

There are a few clappers/talkers but mostly in-between songs.

The band are on great form here much to recommend.

Also more recollections have wormed their way out of the deepest recesses of my brain regarding the bottling off of the unknown final act (who were trying to perform Maggie’s Farm). 

People were throwing stuff at the stage, 

and after a while one of the performers on stage made the mistake of starting to throw stuff back at the audience.. big mistake!! 

This prompted an even greater barrage of glasses / bottles etc to be launched from audience which did indeed see them off!! 

Hence the several f’ offs audible at the end of the recording!!

So it must be the tape possibly is my conclusion.
