R.C. Notes:-
Atomic and Union City Blues are from a fierce 7 inch single.
Warp 8 and Warp 9 in electroglide were Alex singing on a band called "One Note Jam",
which I suspect was just Motorcycle Boy calling themselves something different to be experimental (or maybe follow up band).
The files are mostly rips from vinyl & tape transfers.
Remaster Notes:-
The John Peel Session tracks were recorded on 30th August 1987 & broadcast 14th September 1987.
Okay this post caused me to have a long hard think (which is always dangerous),
most of these are officially available from places like Ebay & the excellent Discogs.
However there is no CD release or as far as I can tell no plans for one.
Or any re-issues of the vinyl releases.
So...
Here is a compilation generously shared by RC with r & r by yours truly.
This isn't perfect by any means, some of the source material (especially Peel Session) could be better,
there is a glitch in track 3 at 1:56 - 1:57 for instance, some tracks remastered better than others,
but as a compilation it works pretty well.
Shows what a great band & songwriters they were.
Alex's vocals are so dreamy & lush.
If any one connected to the band object to these being offered here please let me know.
It is never my intention to offer anything that you can get officially,
but the band won't get a penny from Ebay or Discogs hence this compilation.
They will be removed immediately and not shared privately.
Would love these on CD or a collected vinyl box set possibly.
If one gets released these will disappear.
So while we wait for an official release this will keep us going.
Enjoy & try to be kind...

Thank you for posting this; I only recently heard of Motorcycle Boy on the C87 and Big Gold Dreams compilations, so I'm interested to hear their other stuff. Thanks! Anon 1
