Remaster Notes:
Many thanks to the taper for a wonderful recording & David for running Smiths Torrents from which the original came.
Did a complete re-track of this, runs much better.
Minimal restoration & light touches of remastering.
After the first track there are hardly any talkers which is brilliant for us listening.
This is (probably) the best of the early recordings, a must.
One of my favorites, certainly in the top ten of all that is available across the years.
If you have the original this is a nice upgrade for your collection.
Enjoy....

Dream Remastered, Summer 2020.

Do NOT sell this recording.
Freely given to you, so don't charge others.

Release Notes

This bootleg, which I received as a CDR some time in the past, is surprisingly
good quality, particularly since it's pretty early. It seems that at some
point it's been converted from vinly to CD as there's some vinyl crackle at
the beginning of track one.
The highlight for me is an early version of Barbarism Begins at Home.

  4. Hi - This blog is amazing - thanks!!! I was at this concert and taped it. This recording misses the encore (This Charming Man) and a couple of songs from the main set (What Difference Does It Make & Miserable Lie). Note The Smiths were supported by Red Guitars and a surprise support from Felt. I taped these 2 also. Billy Bragg was in the audience and we had a chat about his Reading Gig on 6th December which I also taped. I promised to send him a copy but never did - still feel guilty about that!
