This a decent audience recording but let down by huge amounts of hiss.
Must be a high generation copy, it was drowning!
Have reduced the hiss as much as possible.
Remastering went well.
Don't expect to much and you may well like this.

The venue is unknown unless some one knows different?
Needed speed & pitch correction and then a full re-track.
If you have the original this is much better (IMO) & worth getting.
Still has issues mainly with the tape condition and/or the deck(s) involved in copying/transfers(s).
Did what I could to make it as good a listen as possible.
"Freedom" just cut off at 1:30 presumably the tape ran out.
Decided to fade it out & fade in "Stand At Ease".
Great atmosphere would have been good to attend.
Talkers/shouters/mad people on here in droves.
Overall not a bad listen, a nice addition to your collection.
Shame it is lossy but worth your time if you are so inclined.

Here we have another one in a row of many upcoming masters from a friend of mine who taped hundreds of concerts in the Stuttgart-area, the Schwabenländle, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, Europe and maybe the whole Universe at all.
They might show up here one after another.
Don't ever ask me what might come next,
but be surprised by all the music that now will see the light of DIME.

Anyway here is the master as it is on the original cassette.
No corrections were made.
The sound-quality is -for its age- excellent-.

Great share from Chris again, much appreciated.
Excellent soundboard recording.
The only major issue was the speed,
it ran way to fast, so have adjusted down to where it should be.
There is an odd sound artifact in the right channel only.
This comes and goes, probably a tape issue but not sure.
Only really notice it in the between songs sections.
Appears around track 8 and stays for a bit then goes.
Needed a few bits of restoration, then some light remastering touches.
Have re-tracked it as well.
If you like the band then this is a must you can't go wrong here!

Remaster Notes:-

Many thanks to Z & Alan for sharing this, much appreciated.
Had some issues:
It was slightly off pitch which has been sorted.
Ran to fast so has been speed corrected.
Needed quite a bit of restoration before remastering.
Responded pretty well to some light touches.
Has some tape stretch & wobble mainly at the start,
but the limitations are audible in places throughout.
Probably a few generations away from the master source.
This was badly edited.
Fixed it up best I could using fade in /outs,
not ideal but a lot easier to listen to.
Some talkers in this all the way through,
sometimes not many sometimes lots of chatter.
At quite low volume, think radio coming through the next room.
Try and block them out & enjoy the music.
Not a huge amount of material around from Felt,
unless someone is sitting on a lost archive!!
Made it the best I could.

It is probably my favourite concert i don't know why.
It is a strange setlist with a lot of repeated songs but it sounds good and the band is playing good as well.
Obviously they were not prepared for a long show :-)

I originally remastered this around 18 months ago.
The source was mp3 kindly sent to me by Scott.

Thought it would be good to remaster this source.
It was over bright & harsh sounding (especially the vocals which at times distorted),
so I have pulled back the top end.
There was little bass to speak of so I have raised what was there,
it is still lacking bass, but better than it was.
Finally I did a re-track.
Turned out well I think.
Tape flip after track 10, track 11 cuts right in, maybe a little lost but not much.
Not to many talkers/shouters active on this.
Some will prefer the original, but for me this is a less wearing listen (especially at volume),
you could grab both and decide for your self.....

I've had this in a box of tapes for over 30 years.
This is just a stunning recording.
I knew it was probably 1 gen from master as I know who I got this from, Alex or Big Al,
for those that were around the London bootleg scene.
I have to assume he was recording this from a box as so little crowd noise, its so low gen as no hiss.
I would say if anyone has a copy of this, this could be a massive upgrade.
This can be played 'kin loud.
Maybe a decent remaster with all the new tools available could make this sound even better, I hope so.

Scott Notes:-

It's the last night of their tour of 1985 at the royal albert hall on the 28th November.
Towards the end of the set at the hammersmith odeon on the 24th November, during Christine, siouxsie leapt and landed badly.
She ended up lying on the stage in agony with a dislocated knee.
The next few nights of the tour went ahead with Sioux in a full leg plaster.
She had to be helped on stage by 2 of the road crew where she sat on a stool for the whole gig.
This RAH show was the last of the tour and they played everything.
At one point Sioux got off her stool to dance but had to be forcefully put back on the stool.
The following day the plaster was removed
and presented to the winner of a BBC radio competition for writing the best poem regarding the incident.
I was actually at that gig.
I'd seen them in Edinburgh and Glasgow earlier in the tour
and was blown away with the new stuff that I had to see them once more on that tour.

Not to bad (heard plenty worse) and doesn't overly spoil the listen.
A worthwhile upgrade for those who have it already,
if you don't well worth a download (I.M.O.), sounds lush!

In Z's notes he doubts the source.
I agree, this is for me an audience recording (a very good one).
No way it is a radio broadcast.
Not the whole gig I suspect but what is here is good.
This is a high generation tape source, probably 3rd or 4th from the master.
Used as much hiss reduction as I could for this but it is still noticeable.
For brief moments the tape age/wear shows up but there aren't that many,
shouldn't spoil your listen.
This was pitch & speed corrected.
Then worked on with some restoration & remastering.
Sounds quite nice, very pleased with how it turned out.
If you like the band then this is for you, a must!

I did mostly restoration with this, which was a fairly big job.
Did some editing during restoration, then re-tracked the whole gig.
No details on taper or lineage for this one,
spek shows it as lossless flac.
If the martins is your thing then this is well worth a listen.

About a year ago Chris very kindly filled a hard drive full of lovely music.
This is the first (of many) posts which originated from him.
All the artwork is by him.
I would like to thank him so much for his generous sharing.
Hope what I do to them does them justice.
This need some restoration & then remastering.
Only major issue was with the start of "Flag Day",
for the first 50 seconds it was subject to what I can only describe as extreme static.
It was awful, I spent ages trying everything I knew to sort it but failed.
So I faded it in when the static disappeared.
Apart from that the rest is all good.
Finally retracked the whole thing

Nice FM recording for 1981, stood the test of time well.
Needed some restoration & very gentle remastering touches.
Did some edits & tidying up.
Biggest issue was a gap in "Plan B" at 17 seconds in,
fixed it up best I could sounds better than the gap that was there but not 100%.
Passes by so fast it isn't really an issue, but thought I had better point it out.
Removed all the DJ intro & outro.
If you have the original then this a very worthwhile upgrade.

This is the speed corrected version, many thanks to the kind person that did it & to the taper.
Rob shared this with us, much appreciated.
This suffers in places with the source tape or deck for the transfer,
nothing terrible but it is there, no idea of the generation of this 2nd or 3rd?
Tracks 1 & 12 suffer the most.
Took some restoration to clean it up & try to calm the shouters that are present.
Too many talkers all over this in places which is a shame as it is quite a decent recording,
smoothed out what I could.
There is some microphone click/fuzz towards the end of "When Love Breaks Down",
am guessing the taper went to the deck to flip the tape as that is what happened next,
not to bad cleaned it up as well as I could.
Remastering went okay, not great, but okay.
This is probably 8/10 audience recording for me,
if you like the sprouts then this is worth your band width.

Nice audience recording, my thanks to the taper for there work, much appreciated.
The biggest issue with this was the speed it ran at.
It was way to fast, it needed a major correction.
Most okay now, all very close to there right setting.
Did that, then some restoration & minimal remastering.
Tape suffers from various things, stretch being the main one & some wobble at times.
Not sure of the generation of the tape used, be nice to have the master anyone?
So don't expect to much and you may well be pleasantly surprised.
Took a lot of doing to knock this into shape!

Another great show from Rob, many thanks to him for all his shares.
Nice soundboard from the la's.
This had a number of issues though.
Was to slow so was corrected by 2-3% on a track by track basis.
The pitch was to low so it was increased.
Bass was very low & thin, so sorted that out, pretty good now but could be better.
Major amounts of tape hiss,
this is probably 2nd or 3rd generation from the original at a guess.
Reduced it a lot only really an issue between songs.
Did some restoration & remastering & then a full re-track.
This isn't the whole gig here, missing at least a couple of tracks,
but it is all that is present.
Another nice addition to you la's collection.

Another great share from Alan, many thanks to him for this gem.
The original recording was excellent, the taper did a really nice job capturing this.
It needed some minor restoration & some light touches with the remastering.
Great atmosphere, the crowd are really "up" for it.
Hope you enjoy this many times over.
