Remaster Notes:-

Many thanks to Chris for this post.
Very kind of him to share his music here with us.
Nice recording by the taper, thanks to him/her.
No lineage, these came straight from Chris as flac.
Verified by Spek.
This needed some restoration & then remastering & finally a complete re-track
Suffers from brick walling (distortion) from "Sheep" on wards.
Did my best to treat it but it was stubborn to remove it all completely.
Apart from that all pretty good.
Talkers/shouters are behaving themselves, so that is a plus.
This gig was recorded by the BBC to broadcast at some point.
Enjoy...

Remaster Notes:-

I originally remastered this around 18 months ago.
The source was mp3 kindly sent to me by Scott.
Found this lossless version here:
https://www.guitars101.com/forums/f145/siouxsie-banshees-1985-11-28-london-uk-aud-flac-681903.html
Thought it would be good to remaster this source.
It was over bright & harsh sounding (especially the vocals which at times distorted),
so I have pulled back the top end.
There was little bass to speak of so I have raised what was there,
it is still lacking bass, but better than it was.
Finally I did a re-track.
Turned out well I think.
Tape flip after track 10, track 11 cuts right in, maybe a little lost but not much.
Not to many talkers/shouters active on this.
Some will prefer the original, but for me this is a less wearing listen (especially at volume),
you could grab both and decide for your self.....
Many thanks to Chatts99 & T.U.B.E. for sharing.
Chatts notes are below & then Scotts.

Enjoy...

Original Notes:-

My Lineage:

Low Gen Tape > Deck > Zoom H2N > CD WAVE > TLH > DIME

I've had this in a box of tapes for over 30 years.
This is just a stunning recording.
I knew it was probably 1 gen from master as I know who I got this from, Alex or Big Al,
for those that were around the London bootleg scene.
I have to assume he was recording this from a box as so little crowd noise, its so low gen as no hiss.
I would say if anyone has a copy of this, this could be a massive upgrade.
This can be played 'kin loud.
Maybe a decent remaster with all the new tools available could make this sound even better, I hope so.
Share freely and use wisely.
Cheers
Chatts99

Scott Notes:-

It's the last night of their tour of 1985 at the royal albert hall on the 28th November.
Towards the end of the set at the hammersmith odeon on the 24th November, during Christine, siouxsie leapt and landed badly.
She ended up lying on the stage in agony with a dislocated knee.
The next few nights of the tour went ahead with Sioux in a full leg plaster.
She had to be helped on stage by 2 of the road crew where she sat on a stool for the whole gig.
This RAH show was the last of the tour and they played everything.
At one point Sioux got off her stool to dance but had to be forcefully put back on the stool.
The following day the plaster was removed
and presented to the winner of a BBC radio competition for writing the best poem regarding the incident.
I was actually at that gig.
I'd seen them in Edinburgh and Glasgow earlier in the tour
and was blown away with the new stuff that I had to see them once more on that tour.

Remaster Notes:-

Many thanks to the taper & Mark P for the transfer & the kind soul(s) that sent this my way.
Really nice recording.
Had some restoration / remastering & full re-track, turned out well.
"My Finest Hour" had some bad level drops in the first 50 seconds which I tried to fix,
still not 100% but pretty near is my best effort.
The only other negative is the dreaded talkers which crop up randomly.
Not to bad (heard plenty worse) and doesn't overly spoil the listen.
A worthwhile upgrade for those who have it already,
if you don't well worth a download (I.M.O.), sounds lush!

Enjoy...

Live In Europe '93

Remaster Notes:-

Arrived as apple lossless (ALAC) m4a.
Spek said lossy @ around 192kbps.
So it is now in mp3.
An excellent recording of an early gig from the band,
the taper did an amazing job capturing this, my thanks to him/her.
Needed little restoration then remastering & a re-track.
If you are a Suede fan you can't go wrong with this.
Only (big) negative is that it is lossy, which is a shame, still a great listen.
If any kind soul has a lossless version and would share I would happily remaster this.

Enjoy...

Remaster Notes:-

Nice recording, many thanks to the taper & Stephane for sharing.
This was restored, remastered & re-tracked.
Biggest negative is the amount of tape hiss still present.
Applied as much reduction as I dared.
Highlight for me is the last section of PGMG (where Johnny plays alone),
the guitar sounds beautiful, with a haunting quality, stunning.
If you have the original then this is worth getting.

Enjoy...
