Remaster Notes:

This one Eric sent to me.

In his words "it's a cluster f***"

Did what I could with it, took quite a lot of time...

Frequency issue...

Spek says these are lossy, but after a lot of investigation we decided to leave them in flac.

They came as WAV's.

If you want you can convert them to mp3.

I am still unsure on these.

Took a lot of restoration, then some remastering.

Removed as much DJ chatter as was possible.

All things considered not that bad, if you like The Furs then this is for you.

Before/after samples for your consideration.

Great recording, enjoyed working on this a lot.

Just a hint of hiss reduction & channel balancing with the restoration.

Some light touches with the remastering was all that was needed.

This was in a bit of a state when I got round to working on it.

It suffered from all manner of noise issues: 

Tape hiss/clicks/static bursts you name it was on here!

So...

This took ages to clean up, it is now the best it can be for my skill set .

No more clicks/static & the hiss is much more under control.

There is still some noise present, but much improved.

I couldn't do much with remastering just some gentle touches.

Track 9 fades out for the tape flip.

Track 10 fades in.

Track 18 I have faded as it just cut off.

If you like early sisters then this could be for you,

If you have the original this is well worth upgrading to.
